Music

At Christ Church, we offer a great variety of music. The congregation may sing ancient chants or recently composed music. Our offerings include hymns played on our pipe organ or you may hear our handbell ensemble. Whatever the style, our hope is that music will draw you closer to God as we are inspired to worship with our hearts and our lips.

Senior Choir

The Senior Choir sings on Sundays at the 10:00 service from September through June. They rehearse on Sundays before the service and Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m. During the winter months we will be rehearsing in the choir room located in the lower level of the parish hall. New members are always welcome.

Handbell Choir

The Handbell Choir is directed by Kim Allard. They perform periodically at special services and events and play about once each month at the 10:00 service.

The Organ

The organ at Christ Church began life as a pipe organ built by the renowned firm of Hook & Hastings. It was reworked and expanded several times, with the last major tonal work done by the Moeller Company. Most recently, the pipework was supplemented with digital ranks and the console was replaced by Rodgers with new, state-of-the-art features.
